Crissy and I took a trip to South Carolina and got back Wednesday night.  We were there with a bunch of her friends, who are also my friends now.  We spent our time fishing, hanging out on the beach, and playing horseshoes.  When I got back, I went straight to Chico to help for a few days.  We had our first branding of the year which was on a cold, windy day but was still enjoyable.  This week on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we will also be branding at the Chico.  We are taking the wagon out with all our camping and branding gear and all the horses we will be riding.  At the MZ, the green grass is starting to show up and it won't be long until the snow up on the mountains starts melting and the water comes rushing down across the ranch.  On about May 15th, we will start recieving cattle that will graze here for the summer.

Well spring is here and it has been beautiful. I absoulutely love the crisp clear mornings turning to warm days in the 60's. It could stay this way all year and you wouldn't hear a bit of complaining from me. Tanya and I just had our fourth child. Her name is Dally Marie and she seems to be a very good baby so far. She wakes only a couple of times a night to eat and other than that she is perfectly content. I'll be back later I have a busy day ahead.
