WOW! Has it really been a month since we posted last? I guess that is how it goes during the fall on the ranch. We have been weaning calves, pregnancy checking the cows, shipping the yearlings and trying to find a moment to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. The best part of it all is putting some much needed miles on the young horses. The temperatures turned this last weekend and it feels like fall. The lows are ranging around the mid-twenties and highs in the mid-sixities. We have also seen snow on the tops of the 14,000 foot peaks overnight but by mid afternoon it is all melted off again. I've got to go. We will try to get back for another update before we start working the bison.
